You sit in my class and you learn many things.
My goal is to help you spread your wings.
Spelling and grammar and writing is key,
But knowing your place is most important to me.
Who are you and where do you stand?
Our school is so small but the Earth is so grand.
I speak the thoughts I wish you to ponder,
I wish that you continue to let these thoughts wander.
I read you the Lorax, I talk of the dirt.
I want us to help prevent the damage and hurt.
I ask you to think about outside of here.
Nature and the wild are all around my dear.
The moral of this and our lives in class
Is to think about more and embrace the vast
Question one, question all and together we’ll see
The chaos presented by yours truly,
